With a name like Barbara Dayes, I am Treasured Days Photography. As an experienced photographer, I have covered special events, captured family and pet portraits, and explored the art of indoor and outdoor images. Whether I am trekking in Nevada’s fabulous outdoors (composing landscapes and snagging that prime moment with wildlife), or setting up families and/or their pets to showcase their best looks, I consider every photographic opportunity a day to treasure. I am passionate about recording a unique moment as it matures and sparks. While I do offer a studio with advanced lighting, I specialize in bringing portable lighting to a site that YOU choose.

As an award-winning photographer*, I began capturing images professionally more than 30 years ago when I reported and edited for a small daily newspaper in the Colorado Rockies. I squeezed in a successful career as a teacher before retiring and returning to photography.
